Vehicle Movement Restrictions On Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Bridge For 6 Days

Cuttack: Twin City Police Commissionerate on Tuesday imposed restrictions on movement of vehicles on one of the bridges between the two cities for six days for inspection work.

In a notification, Police Commissioner Dr Sudhansu Sarangi has stated that the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will carry out a detailed inspection on the left side bridge over Kuakhai, Kathjodi and Birupa rivers on National Highway-16 from Bhubaneswar to Cuttack. In order to facilitate the work, the vehicle movement on the bridge will be restricted from 11 am to 6 pm for six days from  September 22 to 27.

However, there will be provision of diversion for the vehicles on the route to Cuttack.

Similarly, the restrictions will be effective for the middle bridge over river Mahanadi during the period.
