Bhubaneswar: To make emergency travels hassle-free, the Twin City Commissionerate Police on Thursday decided to issue vehicle pass stickers for commuters of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
The stickers with one-day validity is being issued after police verify the supporting documents. A sticker with ‘CHECKED’ written on it is then pasted on vehicles, which allows for their free movement at the checkpoints.
This will also ensure social distancing between police and people.
A control room has also been opened in the Home Department to monitor issues during the lockdown.
