Vehicle Passes To Remain Valid During COVID-19 Lockdown In Odisha’s Twin Cities

Bhubaneswar: The  Commissionerate Police on Monday made it clear that the vehicle pass issued for transportation of essential goods will remain valid during the entire COVID-19 lockdown period.

Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi tweeted that there was no need for the renewal of vehicle pass issued on or before March 29 and it will remain valid till the situation improves.

Keeping this in view, people need not approach police with pass renewal request, he added.

Vehicle passes are being issued to workers to ensure continuation of emergency services during the lockdown period.
