Jagatsinghpur: The police have arrested six persons here in the last 24 hours for violating the lockdown norms.
A total fine amount of Rs 42,500 was also collected after checking around 96 vehicles.
According to a District Intelligence Bureau report, four cases were registered at separate police stations in the districts for violation of the lockdown norms.
Of the four cases, the Abhaychandrapur police arrested three persons and seized their car in which 75 litres of illegal liquor was being carried.
The Nuagaon police arrested another violator for carrying five litres of illegal liquor.
