Koraput: Vehicular movement on National Highway in Odisha’s Koraput district was paralysed for a long time on Saturday as an SUV caught fire on the road.
As per reports, a Mahendra Bolero carrying four passengers was going on the NH from Koraput to Sunabeda, smoke came out of its engine and in no time, caught fire. The SUV’s driver stopped the ignition and he along with the passengers came out of it.
As the fire spread fast in the vehicle and engulfed its entirely in no time. On finding the SUV on fire and apprehending explosion of its fuel tank, the vehicles on both sides of the NH stopped plying.
After some time, Fire Brigade from Koraput arrived at the spot and got engaged in dousing the fire. However, nobody was injured in the incident.
