Jajpur: In a tragic incident, a vendor lost his legs after he accidentally slipped from a from a moving train at Gadamadhupur railway station in Jajpur on Friday.
The injured man has been identified as Gunanidhi Dora (55). He belongs to Thanual village of the district.
According to sources, the accident took place when Gunanidhi was alighting from a moving train after selling sweets. He fell on the railway tracks and the speeding Puri-Howrah Train ran over his legs.
The locals rescued him and took him to Dharmashala CHC. Later, he was shifted to SCB Hospital in Cuttack in a critical condition.
