‘Very Tough Time’: Palak Muchhal On Palaash & Smriti Mandhana’s Wedding Controversy

Mumbai: Amid Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana’s wedding controversy, the music composer’s sister, playback singer Palak Muchhal has said it’s a very tough time for both families.

In an interview with Filmfare, Palak opened up about the scrutiny that Palaash has been facing.

“I think the families have been through a very, very tough time and like you just said… I would just want to repeat that we would like to believe in positivity in this time and spread positivity as much as we can. And stay strong… yeah,” Palak

said.

Palaash and Smriti were to tie the knot on November 23 in Maharashtra’s Sangli. However, their wedding was abruptly cancelled due to a medical emergency in the family.

Smriti’s father Shrinivas Mandhana suffered heart-attack like symptoms and was rushed to the hospital.

Palaash was then hospitalised because of stress.

“He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours. He was given an IV drip, an ECG was done, and other tests were carried out. Everything came back normal, but he is under a lot of stress,” Palaash’s mother was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Recently, rumours claimed that Smriti and Palaash will get married on December 7. However, neither family has confirmed the reports.

After postponement of the wedding, rumours were abuzz that Palaash cheated on Smriti with a choreographer, who was hired for choreographing their wedding dance.
