Veteran Actress Mumtaz Rubbishes Death Rumour, Says She Is Fine

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actress has scotched the rumour doing the rounds that she was dead and said she was absolutely fine.

This is not the first time that pranksters have circulated fake news about the demise of veteran Bollywood actress Mumtaz.

Reports were trickling in on Friday that Mumtaz had passed away and her funeral will take place on Sunday. When contacted, the 73-year old actress expressed her disappointment over the death rumour and said that she was under quarantine with her family in London.

Mumtaz’s daughter Tanya took to social media to share a video of her mother who is in the pink of health.

There was a similar rumour about Mumtaz’s death last year and it created a lot of discomfort for her family members, who are residing in different parts of the world.
