Bhubaneswar: Veteran journalist from Odisha Ajit Kumar Mohanty breathed his last at 12.30 pm on Sunday while undergoing treatment at AIIM-Bhubaneswar here.
According to sources, he was diagnosed with cancer. He had been undergoing treatment in Bengaluru before being shifted to AIIMS here about 15 days ago, his wife Shanti Mohanty informed.
He worked with vernacular dailies Dharitri and Samaya and also as a freelance journalist.
