Bhubaneswar: Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to embark on a one-day official visit to Odisha on July 9 to participate in a series of programmes.
According to sources, the Vice President is scheduled to attend a programme at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar. He is also expected to participate
in several other government and social programmes in the state capital and hold meetings with distinguished personalities. Extensive preparations are already underway to ensure the smooth execution of the visit, with the state administration actively reviewing security protocols and logistical arrangements. Security across the capital city is expected to be tightened significantly ahead of the Vice President’s arrival, keeping in line with the multi-layer security protocols standard for VVIP movements at Biju Naik International Airport and the scheduled event venues.

This upcoming visit follows a period of heightened national attention on Odisha, which recently hosted President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during which major infrastructure projects worth over Rs 47,600 crore were unveiled, marking Odisha’s BJP government’s second anniversary celebrations.
