New Delhi: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu has recovered from coronavirus and tested negative, his Secretariat informed on Monday.
The 71-year-old had tested positive for the virus on September 29. He was asymptomatic and under home isolation.
“As per today’s RT-PCR test conducted by AIIMS, the vice-president and his wife Usha Naidu have both tested negative for COVID-19,” an official statement said.
Venkaiah Naidu is in good health and is expected to resume normal activities soon as per doctor’s advice.
