New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Chhaava,’ which hit theatres on February 14, has left fans in awe of the period drama.
Among emotional fans was a young fan who was left teary-eyed after watching the film.
On Monday, Vicky took to his Instagram handle to drop an adorable video of the young fan, crying and chanting the Maratha warrior’s name while watching the film.
“Hamari sabse badi kamai. (Our greatest earning). Proud of you beta (son)… Wish I could give you a hug. Thank you everyone for your love and emotions. We wished for Shambhu Raaje’s story to reach every household in the world… and to see that happening is our greatest victory,” Vicky wrote along with the video.

On Sunday, the makers of the film had uploaded a video on social media to show the overwhelming response from the audience.
In the video, movie buffs were seen leaving theatres with tears in their eyes.
The video was captioned as, “A roaring epic that has captured the hearts of audiences.”
Another video showed fans pouring milk over the posters of ‘Chhaava.’
“Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj ki jai,” they chanted while pouring milk.
Helmed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, ‘Chhaava’ revolves around the life of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
Vicky plays the titular role, Rashmika plays his wife Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna is seen as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta and Vineet Kumar Singh are also part of the cast.
