Bhubaneswar: A man was beaten up for allegedly misbehaving with a girl in a moving bus in Odisha capital. The matter came to the fore on Wednesday after a video clip of the incident, which had taken place the previous day, went viral.
According to sources, the person sitting beside the girl in the city bus allegedly tried to touch her inappropriately. The girl warned him not to repeat the same, but when he persisted, she took out her slipper and beat him black and blue.
Other passengers soon joined the victim and asked the man to get down from the bus immediately.
The bus was heading towards Patia from Master Canteen Square when the incident took place at Khandagiri.
No police complaint has so far been lodged in this regard.
