Bhadrak: A video of an old woman embracing a doctor in gratitude at the district headquarters hospital here has gone viral on social media.
According to reports, the old woman from Charampa had been suffering from acute arthritis for four years and unable to walk because of pain. The woman’s family then got her admitted to the hospital for a surgery, which was conducted by Dr Arya Mishra. She was discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
Coincidentally, the old woman met Dr Mishra during her visit to the hospital on Monday. She hugged him to express her gratitude for curing her. She also blessed him with long life.
The doctor, in turn, thanked her for the gesture.
