Video On Cuttack’s SCB Hospital Staff Drinking Alcohol In Ticket Counter Goes Viral

Cuttack: In another embarrassment to prestigious SCB Medical College and Hospital at Odisha’s Cuttack city, a video claiming to show one of its employees drinking alcohol inside a ticket counter has gone viral on social media.

The video does not mention the department or wing of Odisha’s prestigious hospital. But it claims that the man is one of the staffers of the hospital and records him drinking inside a ticket counter.

The hospital authorities have not refuted the claim made in the video but said they would look into the matter to ascertain its veracity.

Dr Abinash Rout, administrative officer of SCB Hospital, told the media that he was aware of the viral video and they would examine it to know the department and identify the person committing the illegal act.

After confirming the facts and identity, stringent action would be taken against those responsible for it, he added.

It may be noted that a video showing a man accepting bribe from a youth to provide him a job in the SCB Hospital had gone viral in July.
