Balasore: Vigilance officials unearthed assets worth more than Rs one crore during raids on the properties of a former IIC.
The Vigilance sleuths of Balasore division conducted simultaneous raids on the properties of former IIC of Jaleswar police station in the district Dhaneswar Sahoo on Tuesday. The properties are spread across Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Balasore, according to a release of Director, Vigilance, Odisha.
During the raids, a flat, a two-storey building, a four-wheeler, deposits in various banks and post offices, gold and silver ornaments and cash were seized. The total assets of Sahoo were estimated to be Rs 1,11,35,715.
