The accused identified as Manaswine Khadiratna was caught red-handed while taking bribe of Rs 1,800 from one Prafulla Baral for demarcation of land.
Basing on a complaint lodged by Baral, a team of vigilance officials laid a trap and nabbed the land surveyor while accepting the bribe amount.
Earlier on February 7, a lady Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) of Rajamunda panchayat in Sundargarh district was arrested by vigilance for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 2,100.
The GRS, Sangita Mohanty, had demanded the money from a person for sanctioning seven houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
