Vigilance Arrests Gram Rozgar Sevak For Taking Rs 2,100 Bribe

Union ministry officials arrested in bribery case


Rourkela: Vigilance sleuths arrested a lady Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) of Rajamunda panchayat in Sundargarh district 

n class=”aBn” tabindex=”0″ data-term=”goog_1297190583″>on Wednesday for accepting bribe.The GRS, identified as Sangita Mohanty, had demanded an amount of Rs 2, 100 from a person for sanctioning seven houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Based on a complaint, a team of anti-corruption

officials laid a trap and caught the accused red handed while receiving the bribe.

Mohanty’s residence located at Lahunipara and her parental house at Gudiali were also raided by the vigilance officials and several important documents were seized.
