Dhenkanal: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday unearthed assets worth Rs 1.20 crore during simultaneous raids on the houses of Santosh Kumar Sahoo, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Digha and Mathkargola panchayats under Bhuban block in the district.
Five teams of the Cuttack Vigilance division, comprising one DSP, seven Inspectors and other officials, conducted the raid at five places in the district in a disproportionate assets case.
The Assets:
>> One triple-storey building and two single-storey buildings under Kamakshyanagar police limits
>> Four plots, including one at Kamakshyanagar and three at Ziridamali
>> Two two-wheelers
>> Insurance deposits over Rs.14 lakh
>> Other movable and immovable properties
Further searches are continuing, Vigilance sources added.
