Dhenkanal: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday unearthed assets worth Rs 1.20 crore during simultaneous raids on the houses of Santosh Kumar Sahoo, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Digha and Mathkargola panchayats under B
huban block in the district.
Five teams of the Cuttack Vigilance division, comprising one DSP, seven Inspectors and other officials, conducted the raid at five places in the district in a disproportionate assets case.
The Assets:
>> One triple-storey building and two single-storey buildings under Kamakshyanagar police limits
>> Four plots, including one at Kamakshyanagar and three at Ziridamali
>> Two two-wheelers
>> Insurance deposits over Rs.14 lakh
>> Other movable and immovable properties
Further searches are continuing, Vigilance sources added.
