Vigilance Raid On Asst Engineer; Flat In Bhubaneswar, 7 Plots & 2-Storey Bldg In Berhampur

Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths are conducting simultaneous searches on properties of Assistant Engineer, Sunadeba NAC in Odisha’s Koraput, Manoj Kumar Patra for allegedly accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The raids are on at 6 places in Khurda, Gajapati, Ganjam and Koraput districts:

1. Flat no-102, Konica Apartment, Pokhariput in Bhubaneswar

2.Paternal house at B sitapur, Paralakhemundi

3. Residential building of relative at Berhampur

4.Two-storey building at Saktinagar, 4th lane, Berhampur

5. Government quarters at Sunabeda

6.Office room, NAC office, Sunabeda

ASSETS RECOVERED SO FAR

1) 3 BHK flat worth about Rs 80 lkah at Pokhariput in Bhubaneswar

2) Two-storey building worth around Rs 50.57 lakh at Berhampur

3) 7 plots, including 1 plot in Bhubaneswar and 3 plots each in Berhampur and Koraput

4) Fixed deposits and bank deposits worth Rs 28.75 lakh

5) A four-wheeler (Hyundai Venue) worth Rs 12.88 lakh

6) A two-wheeler (TVS Jupiter) worth Rs 59, 447

Further searches are on, the Vigilance sources said.
