Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths detected property worth over Rs 2 crore in the name of Dr Prasana Kumar Mishra, assistant professor of mathematics at College of Engineering and Technology (CET) in Ghatikia here, during the raid on Monday.
The alleged disproportionate assets detected so far include three-storey house worth Rs 61 lakh and a four-storey building under construction worth Rs 91 lakh at Khandagiribari and deposits of Rs 25 lakh in eight bank accounts.
The exact amount will be ascertained on completion of the raid, official sources said.
Besides his office room at CET, the anti-graft officials also raided that of his wife, Dr Supriya Mishra, who is a contractual lecturer of biotechnology at CET.
It is suspected that Mishra might have collected bribe from students during the evaluation of answer sheets and admission.
