Jagatsinghpur: The Vigilance sleuths on Monday conducted simultaneous raids on the office and the residence of Dipti Prakash Swain, junior engineer, Central Electricity Supply Utility (CESU), on the allegation of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to sources, the anti-corruption officials raided five places ,including Swain’s office and his residence at Mangala Colony in Jagatsinghpur town, his paternal house at Bisapittala and a market complex at Gandhi Chhak, and seized incriminating documents.
Till reports last came in, cash worth Rs 3 lakh and some gold ornaments have been seized during the raid.
