Bhubaneswar: Vigilance officials of Sambalpur division on Thursday raided the office and residence of Deputy Ranger, Balangir, Keshaba Kishor Nayak on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The searches were carried out at his residential triple storey building at Sagarpada, under construction double storey building at Gupteswar Nagar, residential building at Indira Nagar, all in Balangir, house at native village located at Ghudaghatpada in Sonepur Town of Sonepur district.
His office chamber at Divisional Forest Office, Balangir was also searched on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Balangir.
Details of the property are awaited.
