Sonepur: A squad of the Vigilance, Sambalpur department, on Wednesday raided the residence of a teacher of Patharghat Upper Primary School in Odisha’s Sonepur district on the allegation of possessing assets dispr
oportionate to his known sources of income.
According to Vigilance sources, a double-storey building at Baghmari village and another at Kenjhariapali, belonging to assistant teacher Santosh Kumar Sahu, are being searched simultaneously.
The team is also verifying his bank accounts and other documents, including immovable properties.
