Berhampur: Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted raids on the properties of two officials of Chilika and Berhampur Divisional Forest Officers for alleged acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
The two officials are Nabin Chandra Bishoyi, junior accountant at the office of Chilika DFO in Balugaon of Khurda district and Surya Narayan Tripathy, junior accountant at the office of Berhampur DFO in Ganjam district.
The Vigilance officials conducted searches at Bishoyi’s residential triple-storey building at Nilachal Nagar in Berhampur, office chamber at Chilika DFO office at Balugaon and Forest Rest house at Chilika.
Another team carried out search at Tripathy’s triple-storey building at Nrusingha Mandir Sahi in Kamapalli in Berhampur, another residential triple-storey building, a flat at Ashiyan Apartment in Ankkuli Mouza and his chamber in Berhampur DFO office.
