Padmapur: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday raided the house of Panchayat Executive Officer Purandar Sahu of Daita gram panchayat in Odisha’s Bargarh district on charges of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Verification of various documents of his movable and immovable property was underway at his residential double-storey building at Padmapur and his office chamber at Dahia. The exact amount of disproportionate assets that the Panchayat official possesses will be ascertained after completion of the raid, said Sambalpur Division Vigilance officers.
