Villagers Bust Kerosene Racket In Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur:  Villagers have caught two men smuggling around 2000 litres of kerosene in Jagatsinghpur district.

The incident was reported from Tentulibelari Nagarapada in Balikuda block on Friday night .

According to reports, the villagers intercepted a vehicle and seized eight barrels and three jars filled with kerosene. They later handed over the two men in the vehicle and the seized kerosene to police.

The villagers alleged that unscrupulous PDF dealers in the district sold the kerosene to smugglers at higher prices. As a result, PDF beneficiaries could not avail of kerosene.
