Bhubaneswar: Vir Vikram Yadav, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri.
Yadav replaces Krishan Kumar, a 2002-batch IAS officer who was serving as the SJTA chief. Kumar was relieved by the Odisha government after the Centre appointed him as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce.
Yadav, currently Principal Secretary of the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare (FS&CW) department, has also been appointed as the Principal Secretary, Works department.
He will also be in additional charge of Commissioner (Trade Promotion and Investment), Member Secretary (Odisha State Commissioner for Backward Classes) and Chairman (OSWC).
The Odisha government, which carried out a minor reshuffle among IAS officers, announced this on Saturday.
Nikunja Kishore Sundaray, a 1987-batch officer, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary in the Public Enterprises department following his return from Central deputation.
Sanjeev Kumar Chadha, a 1989-batch officer, will remain in additional charge of Secretary (I/c), Cooperation department and Director, Agricultural Marketing & Ex-Officio Member Secretary, OSAM Board. Chadha is currently Special Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment department.
Subham Saxena, Director, Minor Minerals, has been appointed as Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. He will remain in additional charge of Director, Minor Minerals, Joint Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment department and Joint Secretary, FS&CW department.
