VSS Cricket Stadium In Odisha’s Sambalpur Set For Major Revamp

Sambalpur: The Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) cricket stadium here is set to be overhauled.

VK Pandian, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, visited the stadium on Sunday and discussed redevelopment plans in detail with players and officials.

As per artistic visuals of the proposed revamp, the galleries will have covered roof all around and there will be four floodlight towers.

The current capacity of the stadium is 20,000.

VSS stadium has staged 15 first-class matches so far including some of Odisha’s Ranji Trophy fixtures.
