After Motorola & Xiaomi launched their Ultra HD TVs on consecutive days, Vu didn’t want to be left behind. The company on Wednesday announced an ‘UltraAndroid’ Smart TV range to compete in the space.
Vu, which claims to be number one in 4K TVs in India, is launching its entire new range on Amazon during the Great Indian Festival sale at the end of this month.
The new TV comes with a Pure Prism Grade High Brightness Panel, with Adaptive Contrast mechanism, 8GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 5.0 and Dolby and DTS Surround Sound Technology. It runs on Android TV 9 Pie and has access to all Google services and apps.
The remote control has dedicated Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, YouTube and Google Play buttons. The TV has in-built Google Chromecast.
The prices have not been announced yet.
