Kendrapara: A history-sheeter was injured in an encounter with the police in Odisha’s Kendrapara district late on Monday.
The injured criminal has been identified as Ganesh Mallick.
Giving details to the media here on Tuesday, Kendrapara SDPO, Rajib Lochan Panda said Ganesh had come to his village Halapur to attend the Saraswati Melana. Based on this tip-off, a team from Sadar Police station led by the IIC raided the village in the night.
