Bhubaneswar: A wanted gangster was arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch on Thursday.
According to STF sources, the accused identified as Madhav Khuntia was nabbed from Balangir district. He had alleged links with with gangsters Tito and Haider Ali.
More than 100 criminal cases are pending against Khuntia at different police stations across the state, the sources further said.
The accused is being interrogated to ascertain about his criminal links, the sources added.
A pistol, a sword, four bullets and one bhujali were seized from his possession.
