Rourkela: Mrs India Runners-up Shivangi Saraf of Odisha was given a rousing welcome on her arrival here on Saturday.
Shivangi won the runners-up trophy in the recently concluded Mrs India competition organized by India Innovation in New Delhi.
Besides Shivangi’s family, members of several cultural organizations were present at the railway station.
Talking to mediapersons, she attributed her success to the hard work and unstinting support of her family members.
“I feel very honoured and privileged. I am representing India everywhere I go. I feel good because I have made Rourkela proud. I would like to give credit to my parents, my husband and the entire family because it was teamwork that helped me win this title,” Shivangi said.
