Mumbai: Support kept pouring in for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan after the arrest of his son Aryan in the drugs-on-cruise case.

In the comment section of a journalist’s Instagram post, Sussanne Khan, who is believed to be close to Gauri Khan, wrote, “I think this is not about Aryan Khan, as he was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time.”

“This situation is being made an example to drive home the excitement that some people get as they have a witch hunt on people from Bollywood,” she added.

According to TOI, NCB has found links in the form of pictures, chats on Aryan‘s mobile phone pointing to an international drug trafficking chain. Media reports further said that he has been cooperating with the investigating agency and has given a ‘4-page written statement’ to the cops.

Earlier, Shah Rukh’s co-stars Pooja Bhatt and Suchitra Krishnamoorthy had tweeted expressing solidarity with the actor.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also called for empathy amid the extension of Aryan’s NCB custody in a tweet on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has asked his friends from the industry not to visit Mannat citing security concerns, Bollywoodlife reported. Salman Khan had paid him a visit on Sunday. His sister Alvira Khan, Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari were also clicked near his bungalow.

Fans are sharing a video clip from ‘The Lion King’ to show their support. SRK and his son gave their voices for the Hindi-dubbed version of the 2019 film. Earlier, they had started a trend ‘We Stand With Shah Rukh Khan’ on Twitter.
