Was Shahid Kapoor Insulted On The Sets Of ‘Padmaavat’ Because Of Ranveer & Deepika?

Mumbai: Ahead of the release of his film ‘Deva’, Shahid Kapoor is making headlines because of his unfiltered conversation with Raj Shamani.

Shahid divulged that he was made to feel ‘lesser’ before his 2019 film ‘Kabir Singh’ left cash registers ringing at the box-office.

As soon as Shahid’s interview from the podcast went viral, netizens started speculating that the actor was talking about his experience on the sets of ‘Padmaavat’, which also starred Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.

Meanwhile, a netizen claiming to be a crew member on the sets of ‘Padmaavat’ shared that Shahid was insulted and rebuffed by the filmmaker during the shooting of the film.

“True man really, i was working on padmavat, ranveer was on there peak time, and Shahid was in down time, ranveer avoiding secondary shots, dup was, dup was taking care those shots, and Shahid, giving all the shots, if he said something, director was not listening and he insults shahid. Time matters,” wrote the netizen.

However, there is no confirmation regarding this claim made on social media and Shahid, too, did not take any name in the interview.

The historical drama ‘Padmaavat’ is set for re-release in theatres on February 6.

Shahid will be seen playing a rebellious and honest cop in ‘Deva’, in which is co-star is Pooja Hegde.
