Mayurbhanj: A 14 feet long king cobra was rescued from the bedroom of one Ashok Mohapatra’ at Nischinta village under Bangiriposi Range in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Monday.
According to sources, the snake was spotted under a wardrobe in the bedroom.
On being informed, the Forest Department personnel reached the spot and informed the snake catcher of Baripada, Krushna Chandra Gochhayat.
Krushna Chandra rescued the snake with care and released it into Bangiriposi Ghati jungle with the help of Forest range staffers.
