New Delhi: The revising committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has watched Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2. The screening was also attended by Chairperson Prasoon Joshi. The committee has suggested an adult certificate with about 20 cuts but the show-cause notice is yet to be sent to the producers for the same, ETimes claimed in an exclusive report.
OMG 2′ will reportedly get released on August 11. However, the release date was missing from the song that was released after the executive committee of the CBC watched the film. With only 16 days left for release, the final call on the theatrical date of the movie is likely to be taken by Akshay Kumar. The actor is apparently away from the country. The promotional campaign of ‘OMG 2’ is likely to be affected following this controversy, E Times.
ETimes claimed that the Censor Board was not available for comment for a confirmation on the suggested A certification and several cuts.
