Mumbai: Actress Chhavi Mittal recently took to social media to reveal that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. But she didn’t let the dreaded disease pull her down and tried to remain positive.
She has been sharing pictures and videos of her enjoying life even as she battles cancer.
But her posted on Sunday night took the cake.
Chhavi, who has featured in TV serials like Bandini, Naginn and Viraasat, took to her Instagram account to share a video where she is seen dancing to the tune of the song Bop Daddy in her room, beside her hospital bed. That, too, a day before her surgery as part of her preparation to visit th operation theatre!
“Doc said, Chhavi… You need to chill! So I’m chilling. #preppingforsurgery,” Chhavi wrote along with the video.
The actress suddenly stops dancing and the screen reads ‘Got caught’. She moves the camera towards her husband Mohit Hussein who has come in, and tries to imitate her dance moves.
Chhavi’s fans and friends couldn’t hide their appreciation.
“Tightttttttttt hug,” wrote Pooja Gor along with a red heart emoji and hug emoji.
“You are a rockstar!!!” posted Aarti Khetarpal.
“You are such an inspiration. Loads of love and prayers for tomorrow,” one user wrote.
While informing about her breast cancer, Chhavi had written: “I’m horrified at the number of women who go through it. If I can do my bit in helping women detect cancer early… Also, the challenge for women fighting breast cancer is emotional trauma. I want to show women that it doesn’t have to be so emotionally traumatic. If you have a good chance you should be positive about it.”
