[Watch] Afghan-Origin Gym Owner Shot Dead In Delhi

New Delhi: An armed assailant shot dead a 35-year-old man in south Delhi’s Greater Kailash area on Thursday night. A CCTV camera captured the moment when the shooter opened fire at the victim, who was a gym owner, on a busy road in the posh south Delhi locality.

The victim was identified as Nadir Shah, an Afghan-origin man who lived in CR Park. In the CCTV footage going viral on social media, Shah can be seen standing at the side of the road next to parked cars while talking to another man, when the armed assailant approached him wearing a chequered shirt approached them and opened fire.


While the other man ducked and ran away, the attacker kept firing several rounds of bullets at Shah from a very close range before he ran away and hopped on a motorcycle parked a few metres away, fleeing the scene. The incident took place around 10.40 pm, according to the time stamp on the video.
