Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wished party’s candidate for Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat Pranab Prakash Das victory in the upcoming elections.
Naveen wished Das, popularly known as ‘Bobby’, before the BJD organisational secretary filed his nomination for Sambalpur Parliamentary seat.
“All the best Bobby. I am sure you will win,” the BJD chief said in a video message to Das, who has been pitted by the ruling party against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Sambalpur.
Das, who filed his nomination papers for Sambalpur Lok Saba constituency, shared Naveen’s video message in a post on his X handle. The BJD leader said he feels inspired after getting the party president’s encouraging message.
With the blessings of the CM and the affection of the people of Sambalpur, his resolve for building a developed and prosperous Sambalpur has been further strengthened, said Das.
