[Watch] Amitabh Bachchan Faces Special Contestants In KBC’s Mega 1000th Episode

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan is an institution by himself as far as Bollywood is concerned. But the ageless superstar is also synonymous with Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).

One of India’s most popular television quiz game shows, KBC made its debut in 2000. Come Friday, December 3, it will be airing the 1000th show.

To make the landmark episode memorable, Big B will host his daughter Shweta Bachchan and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda on the quiz show.

In a promo of the upcoming 1000th episode, shared by Sony Entertainment Television, Amitabh becomes emotional as Shweta and Navya sit on the contestants’ chairs.

As Shweta asks her dad to share how his feelings, Amitabh replies, “Aise laga meri duniya badal gai (it seems as my whole world had changed).”

The video clip shows crorepatis over the years, from first crorepati Harshvardhan Navathe in 2000 to Sushil Kumar, who won the top prize of Rs 5 crore in 2011.

KBC is in its 13th season, and Amitabh continues to host celebrities during weekend shows. This season, celebrities like Hema Malini, Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Kajol have graced the show.
