Bhubaneswar: Rapper Dule Rocker, another Odisha singer has set the internet on fire with her talent.
Namita Melka, a young tribal girl from the remote Chintaguda village in Koraput district, became an overnight sensation on social media after two of her songs went viral.
She sings in Hindi, Odia and her native tribal language.
It was her teacher, Bansidhar Halwa, who helped her voice reach the public. And Namita is enjoying the adulation. “I have participated and won many competitions since I was in Class X but none could give me this recognition,” she told a local news channel.
