Jajpur: The district administration on Wednesday traced a person from Bidyadharpur block of Jajpur, who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi earlier last month.
Speaking to the media, Jajpur Collector Ranjan Kumar Das said that the person is being kept in hospital isolation and his family has been directed to stay in home quarantine. “His swab samples have been sent for tests,” he added.
Das further said that Jajpur shares border with Bhadrak which has reported the fourth COVID-19 case and hence, necessary surveillance is being carried out to ensure that there is no spread of the killer virus.
