[Watch] Bigg Boss 18 Makers Called Out For Promoting Criminals On The Show

Mumbai: Just two days after its launch, the Salman Khan hosted biggest reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18’ has sparked outrage for its choice of contestants.

Recently, YouTuber Shwetab Gangwar shared a video, slamming the makers of Bigg Boss for promoting a contestant like Rajat Dalal, who has several criminal cases booked against him.

In the video, which has been shared on Reddit, Shwetab is heard saying, “When I heard this, I felt something was wrong. Like incredibly wrong. And I am going through an extreme emotion right now.”

He went on to say, “I feel the Bigg Boss team and the people responsible for the selection of contestants have no moral values and boundaries. They don’t consider humanity… There is this person (Rajat) with criminal cases filed against him, he has reportedly hit someone with a helmet… We know there is a violent, aggressive and criminal activity involved…. The team brought him to the show thinking he would be a good addition. They are giving him crores of money and more visibility”.

“I have no hope now…. We have failed as a society. This is bewildering. They can go to this extent to garner TRPs and money… There are cases against him, what is happening to them,” he added.

The controversial weightlifter Rajat Dalal has often been in news for various unlawful activities such as threatening and beating up people. In August this year, Rajat, who was over speeding, had rammed into a biker on a busy road. After the accident, an insensitive Rajat had said, “Wo gir gaya, koi baat nahi. Roz ka yahi kaam hai. (It’s okay that he fell, this is a daily thing)”
