New Delhi: BJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr Amar Patnaik on Monday made some suggestions to help medical students who were studying in Ukraine to complete their education.
Participating in the discussion over Ukraine returnees in Rajya Sabha, the BJD MP said, in line with Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik’s suggestions, that the number of seats in all government and private colleges be increased by 2% to 5%.
“Also take care of the 5th year which has the clinical component in some ingenious method so that their education is completed,” Patnaik said.
Naveen had written to PM Narendra Modi a week ago seeking his intervention to ensure continuity of studies of Indian students who had been evacuated from war-hit Ukraine.
Over 200 Odisha students have returned home so far.
