Bhubaneswar: Shallow to moderate fog seen in Bhubaneswar city with the lowest visibility of 800 km in the airport area on Friday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast fog/mist in the morning and a partly cloudy sky later and also shallow to moderate fog at one or two places in coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal till 8.30 am.
Meanwhile, Daringbadi was the coldest in Odisha at 13 degree Celsius followed by Similiguda (15.3), Titlagarh (15.8), Koraput (16), Kirei (16), Phulbani (17), Bhawanipatna (17), Jharsuguda (17.6), Keonjhar (17.6), Sonepur (17.9), Hirakud (18.6), Chandbali (18.8), Malkangiri (19), Talcher (19), Barapada (19) Boudh (19.3), Sundargarh (19.5), Sambalpur (19.8) and Balasore (19.8).
The MeT office had forecast a fall in the night temperature by 2-3 degrees during the next two days.
