[Watch] Car Plunges Into Waterfall, Miraculous Escape For Family

Indore: It was a day out for a family in Madhya Pradesh. Instead, it turned put to be a nightmare.

A couple and their child had gone for a picnic at Simrol, near Indore. It was at Lodhiya Kund that their car was parked on the edge of the waterfall when it accidentally rolled into the waterbody.

The family of three managed to get out of the water before it sank deeper.

Even as people screamed from the top, a fellow reveller who was standing at the foot of the waterfall jumped in and helped rescue the family.

According to eyewitnesses, the man on the wheel applied the Reverse gear mistakenly, instead of first gear.

Local police has initiated an inquory into the incident which could have led to a terrible tragedy.

It was a case of all’s well that ends well, but there’s a lesson – never park the car so close to a ridge.
