Rourkela: The Dilip Tirkey stadium at the National Institute of Technology-Rourkela (NITR) came alive on Monday evening as students and faculty members packed the venue to listen to playback singer Jubin Nautiyal belt out chartbusters in a four-hour-long performance.
More than 5,000 students showed up for the annual Celebrity Night event, organised by the Student Activity Centre (SAC) of NITR.
Sundergarh Collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner Dr Subhankar Mohapatra, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) Director In-Charge Atanu Bhowmik, NITR Director Prof K Umamaheshwar Rao and Registrar Prof Rohan Dhiman were guests at the event.
Indian Railway Traffic Service Area Manager (Bondamunda) Nishant Kumar, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (Rourkela) Amit Yadav and JP Hospital MD Bansal also attended the event, among others.
