While the deadly coronavirus (Covid-19) has thrown normal life out of gear across the globe, some special events like ‘weddings’ couldn’t be put on hold because of the pandemic.
However, before walking down the aisle, the bride and groom made sure to take all the precautionary measures to be safe from the infection.
At a wedding in Kerala’s Thrissur, the bride and groom exchanged garlands wearing face masks.
Even the guests at the wedding were seen wearing masks while blessing the newlyweds. After all the wedding rituals were over, the couple posed with their friends and family members for a photograph wearing masks.
The wedding video captioned as “Naveen Sayana Wedding Teaser” went viral after it was shared on the YouTube channel of ‘Lollipop Wedding Company’.
Earlier, a similar TikTok video of a married couple wearing masks had gone viral. In the video, the groom is seen refusing to shake hands with the guests and choosing to shake legs while the bride greets the guests with a ‘namaste’.
In another viral video, the groom asks the guests to leave the flowers on the floor instead of handing them over to him.
In India, nearly 115 people have been affected by the novel coronavirus. Two deaths, one from Delhi and one from Karnataka have been reported till date.
