Bhubaneswar: Odisha Director Sports Vineel Krishna is in home quarantine for 14 days after returning from the abroad, as a precautionary measure against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a video message, the IAS officer said that he has been in self isolation at home since Monday in accordance with the advisory issued by the state government. He had also got himself registered in COVID-19 portal of the Odisha government despite being asymptomatic, he said.
He appealed to others returning from abroad to register in the portal and help in the fight against the deadly virus.
He had reportedly gone to the United States for some official work.
